The Beyond Pink Team has been working locally since 1988 as a collaborative effort of area hospitals and other health organizations to increase mammography utilization and to provide breast cancer support groups. Today, they are working to prevent breast cancer, a higher quality of breast cancer care, and providing services and financial support to women and men living with breast cancer. They go BEYOND advocating and educating others about breast cancer and are constantly working to make a real difference both locally and nationally.
The Beyond Pink Teams hosts a number of support groups for cancer survivors in many different situations. The meetings are non obligatory and welcome to all.
Their website offers options of emotional care, physical care, medical care, and screening for prevention. Visit their website to see all they offer: www.cedarvalleybreastcancer.org
