Cup of Joe opened in 1995 when there were only a few retail shops downtown and the Oster Regent Theatre was just being renovated across the street. Dawn Wilson became the manager less than two years after the business debuted and she is now the proud owner of the coffee shop that has become a cornerstone business in the 100 block.Cup of Joe's longevity, as well as it's involvement with Community Main Street, are credited with being among the business's top reasons for success. When you are a guest at “The Cup," it's easy to see that this sustainability of offering high quality products and services is valued in your cup!A little known fact about Cup of Joe is that all their pastries are homemade. The upstairs bakery pushes out a variety of new treats every day, including gooey cinnamon rolls, scrumptious cookies, fresh donuts and numerous other tasty treats, many of which are wheat free and vegan. Dawn and the staff at Cup of Joe love the community life that our downtown provides and it's obvious from the smiles they serve while filling your cup!
