Girls' Night Out Sidewalk Stroll

Make plans to meet your girls for an evening of shopping, dining and making memories during Girls’ Night Out on October 6th from 5-8pm in downtown Cedar Falls! The downtown merchants are teaming up with House of Hope to collect items for our fellow women in need right here in the Cedar Valley.

House of Hope is a two year transitional program for homeless single women with children. The program provides support and personalized case management to women to help them identify and attain changes they must make to achieve sustainable independence and self-sufficiency for their families.

During Girls' Night Out, the downtown merchants will be accepting donations of garbage bags, laundry soap, bed sheets, diapers, towels and pots & pans to donate to the House of Hope. Donations can be dropped off at one of the following locations on October 6th from 5-8pm:

  • Hatchlings & Hens (600 State Street)
  • Kate & Co. (200 State Street)
  • Corner of 4th & Main
