The Cedar Falls Public Library is your Cedar Valley destination for lifelong learning through our collections, programs, and services. In addition to our traditional collections of books, videos, and audio materials, we also have a Seed Library and a Library of Things, including musical instruments, gardening tools, games, a canning kit, and a variety of technological tools you can check out. Attend a class or use the equipment in our new Collaborative Laboratory to create something. With your library card, access our digital collections 24/7, including downloadable books, audiobooks, music, and streaming video. We offer free programs for all ages, from story times for little ones to informational and entertaining programs for teens and adults.

The Cedar Trails Partnership welcomes you to more than 100 miles of hard-surfaced trails. Configured in a series of loops, our award-winning trails wind through Black Hawk County, Iowa, and the metropolitan areas of Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Hudson and La Porte City.

Membership in the Cedar Falls Woman's Club is open to all women. All meetings include a meal, friendship, a short meeting, and a program. The Cedar Falls Woman's Club meets regularly each month from September through May. The Cedar Falls Woman's Club is available to the public for your special events: weddings, showers, parties, dinners, reunions, and club meetings. Catering services are provided.

Built in 1921, this unique round structure was originally home to the flourishing Cedar Falls Ice and Fuel Company. It stored six to eight thousand tons of ice each year—cut right from the frozen Cedar River. Now it is the only museum in the United States that combines an original ice house with an extensive collection of ice harvesting artifacts and archives.
