Friends of Community Main Street
From the beginning, the Friends of Community Main Street have been there for us. They've given generously to help keep the vision of a vibrant downtown alive and growing. We would like to thank our friends for their continued support. As the non-profit organization that works to keep downtown strong, Community Main Street cannot do what we do without you!
Because of the help and support of our Friends, we will continue our efforts to expand economic development programming, promote historic preservation, and sponsor special events that you, and fellow "Friends" will continue to enjoy. This is everyone's downtown and together we continue to make downtown Cedar Falls a wonderful place to live, work and play!

Economic Development Committee
The E.D. committee meets the first Wednesday of the month at 12:00.

The Design Committee meets the third Friday of the month at 12:00.
Goal: To develop a visually identifiable and marketable environment through historic building preservation/rehabilitation and streetscaping of the downtown district.
Organization and Development Committee
The Organization and Development Committee meets the second Monday of the month at 12:00.
Goal: To build consensus, cooperation and financial support among groups that have an important stake in the district by fostering a volunteer-driven program and organizational structure working toward the same goal(s).
The Promotions Committee meets the first Thursday of the month at 12:00.
Goal: To sell the image and promise of Main Street to all prospects. By marketing the district's unique characteristics to shoppers, investors, new businesses, and visitors, an effective promotional strategy forges a positive image through advertising, retail promotional activity, special events and marketing campaigns carried out by local volunteers.
